About The Rosie Project

The Rosie Project is grounded in a simple but intentional approach: this work is not based on mysticism, it is based on observation, behavior, and science.

Every session is rooted in an understanding of equine behavior and nervous system regulation. Horses are highly attuned to their environment and respond to what is real, not what is performed. This creates an opportunity for individuals to develop awareness, consistency, and a more grounded way of engaging with themselves and others.

The focus is not on directing outcomes, but on creating the conditions where meaningful change can occur. By prioritizing the wellbeing of the horse and the presence of the individual, each experience is designed to be both structured and deeply authentic.

Why This Work…Works

Horses are highly attuned animals, constantly reading their environment for safety and consistency. Because of this, they respond to what is present in a person, not what is said or intended.

When thoughts, emotions, and physical presence are out of alignment, horses notice. When those elements begin to come into sync, the horse responds. This creates a clear, real-time feedback loop that helps individuals develop awareness and adjust how they show up.

Horses also support nervous system regulation. Their steady physiological state can help individuals slow down, become more present, and experience a greater sense of calm and clarity.

This is not symbolic or interpretive work, it is based on observable behavior and measurable response, creating an experience that is both grounded and impactful.

We also help each person tune into their own nervous system’s through awareness and guided breathing techniques, supporting their ability to self-regulate. It’s a two-way relationship: the horses regulate the humans, and the humans regulate the horses.
